Owning A Wedding Venue.

I have a connections and possibilities for great wedding venue locations in my home town located about 40 miles south of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. The hinderenaces are initial start up costs, unknown actual operating costs and convincing neighbors of the idea of 400 cars sharing a driveway every weekend.

Providing Wedding Decor Services.

I live on http://Pinterest.com/mmerickson63, at Target on my lunch breaks and Amazon Prime is amazing.

I love making the DIY decor projects at home versus spending $25 at the store. Don’t get me wrong – I splurge often but I can be frugal.

Inventing Something.

So….. Like most millennials I want to be my own boss; doing something I love so working 80 hours won’t feel like “work”!!!

Coming home after working all day and cramming in dinner, laundry, dishes, homework (yes my 4 year old has homework) baths into 2 -3 hrs every week day isn’t something I foresee me doing forever. It sucks.

I try to maintain a good attitude while dealing with whiny, tired, hungry kids (and the neighbor kids) while my husband and I are de-streessing from our days at work. I don’t always keep my cool.

My three year old daughter often says “god damn it” when she’s frustrated and my 4 year old daughter yellls “be quite” at the top of her lungs when my 1 year old son is demanding attention (whining loudly). Well I guarantee they get that from me…..

I know myself well enough that I can’t stay home with the kids without something for us to do. I need my own income and independence. I have a college degree in finance and accounting that I need to put to use!
